Coffers is a personal budgeting application. This policy explains what data is collected when you use Coffers and how it is handled.
Coffers collects the following categories of information:

All data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on a private server. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Backups may be retained for a short period for operational reliability.
Coffers sets one session cookie when you log in. This cookie is used only to authenticate your requests. It is an HTTP-only cookie and cannot be read by JavaScript. It expires after 30 days of inactivity.
You have full control over your data:
Coffers uses your configured OIDC identity provider (such as Authentik) for authentication. We receive only the information your identity provider sends (name, email, and a unique identifier). We do not control the privacy practices of your identity provider.
No other third-party services are used.
If this policy changes materially, the updated date at the top of this page will reflect that. Continued use of Coffers after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
